Chevrolet has finally unveiled the 2025 lineup of its Silverado EV, and there are several exciting surprises. The American manufacturer's truck offers a broader and more extensive range than ever before. However, the standout news is the addition of a new entry-level version, making the Silverado EV even more accessible.
Silverado WT
The 2025 lineup starts with the WT Standard version (or "Work Truck" if you prefer). This version has a starting price of $66,899. It’s important to note that last year, the most affordable version available started at $78,070. The only thing we don’t know yet is the range this new entry-level version will offer.
Next up is the WT Extended version at $78,899. Here, the range reaches 679 kilometers (421 miles). Finally, there’s the Max version priced at $85,009 with a range of 792 kilometers (492 miles).
Silverado LT
The LT version is next, with only one variant on the menu. Here, Chevrolet offers the Extended powertrain with an estimated range of 657 kilometers (408 miles). This is another major addition to the American truck’s lineup for 2025. The LT version bridges the gap between the WT and RST versions, with a starting price of $95,099.
Silverado RST
Finally, there’s the RST version, sitting at the top of the lineup. Here, you have two possible configurations: Extended and Max, with starting prices of $116,599 and $120,599, respectively. As for the range, it varies between 628 and 740 kilometers (390 to 460 miles), depending on the version chosen.
Three Powertrain Options
The 2025 Silverado lineup offers three powertrain options, depending on the version you choose. In all cases, there is an electric motor at the front and one at the rear. The entry-level powertrain delivers 510 horsepower and 580 lb-ft of torque. Next, the power increases to 645 horsepower and 765 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the most powerful powertrain in the lineup develops 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque.
Chevrolet's decision to revamp the 2025 Silverado EV lineup is a great move. The American manufacturer's truck offers a more complete lineup than ever before, making the model significantly more competitive.
